Work.
Real businesses with real constraints. Every project here started with a specific problem to solve and customers to bring in.
Greenline Lawn & Landscape
A local lawn-and-snow operator lives or dies on one promise: the same crew shows up all year. The site had to make that seasonal duality the headline — not bury it under a generic "our services" grid.
Built as a single scrolling story: summer lawns flow into winter snow removal as you move down the page, so a homeowner immediately understands they only have to hire once. Fast, image-led, tap-to-call from any point.
Reviews surfaced up top, a quote form that lands as a real lead, and a build light enough to load instantly on a phone standing in a driveway.
Metro Drain Specialists
Drain emergencies are won in the first thirty seconds. The site leads with the three guarantees that actually close the call — no dig-up, multi-year warranty, one-hour response — and a phone number that follows you down the page.
A confident, animated single-page build: the brand seal, the guarantees, and real review counts all paced as a scroll. Designed to turn a panicked midnight search into a phone call before a competitor picks up.
Persistent call rail, schema markup for "drain cleaning near Royal Oak," and a layout that reads competence before it reads price.
Cedar Table Mediterranean
A 50-year Mediterranean deli needs a site that does double duty: feed the lunch crowd and convert party planners into catering orders. The food is the best asset, so the food leads.
Seven pages cover the full story — menu, online ordering, party trays, hours, location, allergens — with schema markup so Google shows hours, address, and reviews directly in search.
Warm and appetite-first: amber and olive, a serif display face, real photography over stock. Easy to order, easy to find, easy to trust.
matthew-garvin.com
An author platform has to feel like the work it sells. This one is a custom Ghost theme — dark mineral ground, a live mathematical hero animation, and typography (Boska + Switzer) chosen to read as literary rather than corporate.
Built and deployed end to end: a self-hosted Ghost stack on its own server, newsletter signup wired into real email delivery, and a homepage whose copy is hand-built into the theme rather than dropped into a template.
Live in production at matthew-garvin.com — a real site doing real work, not a concept mockup.
